What you'll do (Responsibilities)

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will be dynamic and may vary depending on the specific client and industry. However, core duties will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via various channels (e.g., email, chat, phone) in a professional and timely manner.

  • Diagnosing and resolving customer problems efficiently and effectively.

  • Providing accurate information regarding products, services, and company policies.

  • Assisting with billing queries and payment-related issues.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

  • Adapting to new tools, processes, and client-specific requirements as needed.

What we're looking for (Requirements)

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:

Experience:

Minimum: 1 year of experience in a customer service or customer support role. The specific experience level required will depend on the client's needs.

Technical & Remote Work Readiness:

  • 💻  Computer: Reliable Working PC/Laptop, with a fully functioning video/web camera. Minimum of Core i3 with at least 8 GB RAM (or equivalent). We do not allow Tablets, Chromebooks, or Smartphones.

  • 🛜 Internet: Stable fiber internet connection with an Ethernet line, providing a minimum of 20Mbps upload and download speed, and a backup ISP to ensure continuous connectivity.

  • 🎧 Headset: High-quality, reliable headset with noise-canceling capabilities.

  • 🏡 Work Environment: A quiet and dedicated workspace free from distractions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools (e.g., Outlook) or Google Workspace tools (e.g., Gmail).

  • Familiarity with communication platforms such as Slack.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Availability:

  • Willingness to work according to US time zones (Eastern Standard Time - EST, Central Standard Time - CST, Pacific Standard Time - PST).

Compensation:

  • Willingness to earn between $4 - $6 USD per hour, depending on experience and client requirements.Second item

  • Between R11 000 to R16 000 per month
